My name is Tommy; I’m a fully qualified mechanic and have been for over 15 years. Over the years, I have gained experience in different areas of car repair. I spent a year or so in a paint shop to finish off my capabilities of carrying all types of car repair but stripping down an engine and putting it back together is more my style.
I wanted to share my knowledge of vehicle repairs with those who wish to undertake or understand what happens when cars go wrong. So, I came up with the idea of a website, and that’s why carsneedcare.com was created. As a help to those wanting more information on vehicle maintenance and self-diagnosing vehicle faults. Though not all mechanics do, I love it when others not in the motor industry want to take on repairs themselves. After all, cars are mainly nuts and bolts; not all repair jobs are complicated enough to warrant paying someone to carry them out.
